Retki riutoille

Aamusta nousimme jo varhain ja suunnistimme rantaan. Aussikilometrit olivat taas hieman pidempiä kuin osasimme odottaa, joten saimme tehtyä varsin reippaan aamulenkin samalla. Varauskeskuksen kömmähdyksen tai muun onnekkaan sattuman vuoksi myöhästyimme Illusionilta jolla meidän piti lähteä seilaamaan. Ryhmämme paikat löytyivät kuitenkin toisen veneen kyydistä ja meitä onnisti. Tämä retki vei meidät ensin snorklaamaan ja laitesukeltamaan riutoille. Riutat olivat uskomattoman kauniit. Vedenalainen maailma olisi vienyt mukanaan, jos vain aika olisi riittänyt koko päivän killumiseen. Erilaisista koralleista ei vaan tuntunut tulevan loppua ja näimme lukemattomia kirjavia kalalajeja jotka lähes uivat kämmenelle. Sami onnistui vielä bongaamaan suuren merikilpikonnan. Tämän jälkeen rantauduimme lähes paratiisin kaltaiselle rannalle jossa hiekka oli valkoista ja kuumaa. Siinä käristimme nahkaa hetken ja jatkoimme sitten matkaa. Lopuksi kävimme vielä katsomassa näköaloja saarten yli. Ne olivat henkeä salpaavat. Sinne olisi voinut vain jäädä ihastelemaan kaikkea kauneutta koko loppu päiväksi.
Aktiivisen päivän jälkeen olikin sitten sudennälkä. Sami ja Sirkka kävivät kaupassa hakemassa lammasta jota sitten nautimme suurella ruokahalulla. Sitten aloimmekin jo suunnittelemaan paluumatkaa.



We woke up early and headed down to the beach. Again the Aussiekilometres got to us, and we were served with a brisk morning walk. On our arrival, it became clear that Illusion had took off. Luckily for us, there was some break of communication and we weren't even booked on Sail boat Illusion, but instead on the Reef Jet, departing in 20 minutes time. This suited us better than good, since this boat offred more than just one trip with some snorkling. It had three destinations of snorkling, an incredible white sand beach and lasty, a lookout with an excellent view.

First stop, the reef. Simply amazing! Such underwater beauty. It had its very own world, that one could just awe forever. The different corals just seemed to have no end to them and we saw too many rainbow colored fishes that we could count, swimming around with us. Sami even got a glimpse of huge turtle.

Thereafter, we beached the vessle to a paradise island, where sand was white and hot, as far as the eyes can see. We sun bathed there a while and got our paparazzi shots.

Finally we got to the amazing view of the islands in our last stop. We hiked to the top of a hill, and could have stayed there for ages, just taking in the scenery.

After this active day, we were hungry like a pack of wolves. Sirkka and Sami fetched some lamb from the local butchery. It didn't take long for us to eat it all with great appetite, whilst planning our way back down south.
