Kun Tannum Sands jäi taaksemme oli edessämme koko reissun pisin matka. Yli 500 km piti matkaa taittaa ennen kuin edessämme aukesi Airlie Beach. Olimme perillä vain vähän ennen kuutta joten kaikki isojen autojen paikat oli jo varattu haluamassamme puistossa. Jäimme viereiseen puistoon joka taisi olla matkamme huonotasoisin puisto. Onneksi seuraavaksi päiväksi oli varattu kauan odotettu reissu merelle. Kävimme syömässä läheisessä ravintolassa ja palasimme sitten takaisin autoon hikoilemaan yöksi.
From Tannum Sands, we had the longest leg of our trip ahead. Over 500km to cross, before we could see Airlie Beach. We arrived just before six o'clock and every place for a bigger vans were taken in the park we had plans to go to. We then stayed in the park next door, and this last minute plan b resulted in the worst park of our trip. We didn't mind that much though, since we had our long desired sea adventure waiting for us the next day. We went out to grab a quick bite in the near by restaurant and returned to our van for a sweatty night's sleep.
